About NYC Film Lab
A Brooklyn analog photo lab,
doing it right.
We are a Brooklyn analog photo lab built for photographers who care about the details - real chemistry, consistent scanning, clear pricing, and human support when the job needs it.
Our Story
We do this because we shoot it too.
NYC Film Lab is built around the idea that film service should feel precise, approachable, and consistent from order to pickup.
The lab handles everyday rolls, production work, specialty formats, archival scans, and print workflows with the same baseline: process the film correctly, communicate clearly, and make the result easy to retrieve.
The storefront gives customers a clean way to build orders, track status, and choose pickup or shipping, while the lab team keeps the operational details in the dashboard tools behind the scenes.

How We Work
Four things we
will not compromise on.
These are the rules we keep applying as the site, service menu, and internal tooling evolve.
01
Real film, real chemistry.
We run the proper process for each stock instead of forcing everything through the same shortcut workflow.
- C-41 for color negative
- True B&W development
- E-6 slide processing
- Proper ECN-2 motion chemistry
02
Your work stays yours.
Customer images are treated as private lab work. We do not use your photos for marketing without clear permission.
- Private handling
- No surprise reposting
- Secure delivery links
03
Honest pricing.
Common options are priced plainly so you can build an order without hidden line items at the counter.
- Transparent add-ons
- Clear scan tiers
- Member discounts where applicable
04
Talk to a real lab.
Walk in with questions, weird formats, expired rolls, or a production brief. We will point you toward the right workflow.
- Counter help
- Production guidance
- Format-specific advice
Equipment
What we run.
The point is not to make the equipment the story. The point is to make sure each order goes through the right tool for the result the customer needs.
